Background
On worksites, fastening a ladder is a sensitive safety issue and a complex organisational one. You often need an extra operator to hold and/or stabilise it. In-field teams often talked of the need for a simple, light, and slimline ladder fastening system.
The idea
SADE had the idea of designing a magnetic ladder fastening system.
It features two swivelling and width-adjustable brackets to fasten and position the ladder at different angles.
It allows you to:
- hold a conventional ladder on a vertical metal surface,
- secure any user working on this ladder.
A patent was filed in January 2019 to protect this innovation.
